Manmasst at Manmoli!

I had been with the Tattva group before and loved that gang so took another opportunity to be with them for the week-end with their charity event cum fun-filled trip to Manmoli village. What excited me more was the box cricket game that was to be organised there and wanted to play it again, played it last at Dapoli,Ratnagiri a few months back. There were a lot of masti and discussions on the watsapp group to decide about the time and mode of transport. Finally,Krunal was to pick me up from Mulund and we were to travel by car.The sweet soul that he is,he saw to it that I was picked from my place and dropped back after the trip.I was glad for the lift as I had a big bag of stuff to be donated for the villagers. Krunal's car too was loaded with stuff and hence, only the two of us could travel in it.Had a great time knowing him all through the long ride to Kalyan where we halted to meet up with Sai.that one meeting with Krunal and I was sure that he would be a friend for life, that's the type of guy Krunal was.Our talks centered around treks, travelling, photography ,food, movies and the route to Kalyan. Krunal depended heavily on GPRS for directions, though he did not trust it wholly, so we constantly asked for directions and took a few wrong turns too on the way Reached  Sai's place and met his dad, had rice and rasam(yummy!)which poor Sai had just begun to eat. Meine uske mooh se nivala cheena....too bad!! After the rasam-rice Sai played a few notes on the piano and later we had an interesting chat with his dad while Sai and Jigar went to pick the other guys.Jaal,Jigar,Khamir and Darshan joined us at Kalyan and I realised that it was the first time I was going out with such a small group, not that I minded. Saanu Ki fark painda hai!!!The group was supposed to be of about 15 members but at the last moment most of them cancelled and what remained was just the seven of us.
Once again,we began with the long ride to the Manmoli village. We planned to halt there and start with the other activities in the morning.Once there,we enjoyed the star-lit sky and then rode back to a nearby dhaba for some food and garam chai. Sai enjoyed his spicy fish curry and rice while the rest of us had our tea. Khamir was a bit hesitant about continuing with us for the event and bid us goodbye as he had to join some his friends,so now there were just six of us.Back to the venue where we had a huge dormitory to ourselves. We made ourselves comfortable and started a game of UNO that continued for a long time.It was accompanied by some great music and then later we had a singing and dance session too with the laser lights to make the atmosphere more funky. We had a great time playing the game of UNO,singing dancing and also watching hilarious videos. We had a good supply of sweet stuff like cream biscuits and  cream wafers thanks to Jigar. We also tried some tricks with Sai's stylish hat.We had quite a few recordings of our fun in video thanks to Jigar again, while I was happy taking still pictures.Late into the night, we slept in anticipation of good things to come in the morrow. The night was too cold and though I had warm clothes, socks and a blanket,it was very chilly.I resisted the urge to awake one of the guys and borrow their sleeping bags or another jacket from them so I had a cold, disturbed sleep.

The next morning it was time for some fun. After freshening up we went to the Ram kutir,a quaint place where we clicked some selfies with Jaal's famous selfie stick and then headed towards the local ground nearby for a game of cricket. The game of cricket was the best thing about the event.I hope more girls join in to play cricket next time such an event is kept,it is really funn!!!We had quite a few games in the scorching sun and after a while we stopped and headed back to the dormitory.Lots of enjoyment and fun moments at the game of cricket which cannot be described. We clicked many pics too.It was time for breakfast and we had upma and chai and sat near the office and read a lot of information about the protection  cows and about the flora and fauna of that area.We went to have lunch at the local school where the boys served us a simple meal and we saw the basic amenities that were provided for the boys there. After we came back we saw them all huddled before the television set enjoying a show .we went to the office and donated the books, clothes and other stuff we had got along. It was decided to give half the amount at that centre and to donate the other half for animal welfare. Thanks to the contribution y many of the Tattva group a good amount had been collected.
So job done,we decided to head back home.Again the ride back with Krunal was interesting as we had so much to talk about. We bid the others goodbye and Krunal dropped me home. For me,it was good to be the only gal among the guys for a change, got all the attention and there was no complaining from my side.Girls, next time do join in,box cricket is fun. After lunch it was time to visit the local nursery where we saw many different varieties of plants. When we returned we saw the locals taking the jackfruits from the jackfruit laden trees all around. It was a new experience to see them catch the jackfruits with a sheet of cloth while one of them cut and threw them from the tree top.The villagers then brought us some spinach and drumsticks which were locally grown. They were farm fresh and really cheap so all of us bought them.We were happy to return home with farm fresh veggies and spinach and drumstick being my favourite,I think i was happiest!Drumstick sambaar and palak-paneer for me this week. So,all in al a great time at the Andaaz Apna-Apna Charity event organised by Tattva Adventures.Hope to spread many more smiles in the future with this group.

I never thought I would such a good time even with such a small group.the fun time we had at night with the dancing, singing and UNO game will be remembered. Thanks to this event ,I made a new friend,Krunal.Jall and Sai rocked as always .in the end what counts was that we were able to spread smiles on the faces of many by donating the stuff there.Spreading smiles was the motto of the Tattva group and we had done just that and in the bargain we too had enjoyed ourselves.
