I am so lucky to have my sister staying at Dapoli,Ratnagiri! It is a welcome break to go away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and relax at Dapoli for a few days from time to time.though it cannot be done very often,I make it a point to be there at least once a year at least.I usually make my trip there with my sister and her kids but this time I went there alone to enjoy the long week-end holiday from school.Of course after being there for a short visit ,I was there once again with my sister for a longer stay.
As usual ,staying at Dapoli is really filled with fun and relaxation. What's exceptional is the food of my hostess sister who is an excellent cook.As a true blue foodie I gorge on the sumptuous spread and try my hand at some food photography. There are also many beaches and forts that we visit if we have the time and inclination.I say that because, at times, though we have time to roam around,we prefer staying at home chatting away to our hearts content.
